Founded in 2020, Sophie & Panda was inspired by the childhood story of our founder Sophie and her imaginary friend, Panda. Growing up as an only child in a home without pets, Sophie often felt lonely. To fill the quiet moments, she imagined Panda — a cute and playful friend who kept her company when no one else was around.

Hi I'm Sophie, founder of Sophie & Panda.

Before starting the brand, I graduated from UCLA. I've always loved cute things and spent years collecting stuffed animals. But as I grew older, I realized that the things I treasured most were the ones that brought both joy and purpose. So I thought, why not have both?

Today, I personally lead much of the product design and work closely with talented creatives to bring each idea to life.

My hope is to create little things that are both cute and funciton and bring more joy to our everyday life.♡

Why are hand towels still so inconvenient?

Humans have 10 fingers and 8 spaces between them, yet flat towels never seem to dry those spaces. Besides, they fall off hooks, end up in messy piles, and somehow always start smelling sooner than you'd like.

So we fixed that.

Our fluffy little fuzzy ball towel dries between fingers easily, hangs neatly wherever you need, stays fresh and brings a smile every time you use it.
